AT Bright Start EEC we teach and promote positive behaviors. We lead by setting a positive example, getting on a child’s level and make direct eye contact so that children understand what the expectation is. To guide our students, we use redirection of behaviors as well as anticipating when a child may experience a problem.
Tell me more about naptime…
Children are encouraged to rest on their mat during naptime which is from 12 – 2 p.m. During this time we turn off the lights, and play soft music to help them fall asleep. Children are welcome to bring a soft blanket to make nap time more comfortable – just remember to label it. The ultimate goal of naptime is to provide a nurturing rest time.
